Cult Gaia Pop-up Store Design

Client: Cult Gaia

Location: Florence, Italy

Year: 2022

This is a final semester project I created with my team including Elizabeth Franz and Aranza Caceres for our Visual Merchandising course.

We were tasked with the responsibility of selecting a brand, developing a floor plan for their store, and creating one window display. We made all branding decisions, location decisions, and were responsible for creating a visual mock-up of the store as well.

The Concept

To bring the outside indoors by creating Cult Gaia's first in-person shopping experience. This pop-up shop will be located in Malibu, California overlooking El Matador beach. Using solar power and reclaimed materials, this store will embody the company's mission and commitment to nature through sustainable practices. Our design will include minimalism with strong structural aspects through props, furniture, and fixtures. In addition to the in-person shopping, the experience continues with an on-site juice bar and outdoor seating to enjoy the views ahead and take in the nature around.
